Mabel Meza
Mabel Meza is a multimedia artist with an emphasis in photography. She explores the relationship between fabricated spaces, alternative realities and the complexities they present themselves with our known laws of physics. She is currently investigating new mediums and processes to unravel the impact they have in our everyday emotions including but not limited to embroidery, textiles and fabrics.
She received her Bachelors of Fine Art from the San Francisco Art Institute in the summer of 2020 and received her Associates Degree from Fresno City College in 2018. Mabel has exhibited in Arte Americas, Fresno City Hall and multiple local galleries in Fresno California. She was the recipient of the 2017 Hanna S. Barsam Award at Fresno City College and in 2016 she was a finalist for the 36th annual Photographer's Forum Magazine Contest. Mabel Meza currently resides and works in the Bay Area.
